towards realisation: Centre called Dar Al Birri Wal Ihsane for
the integration of children with social difficulties
It is edified on an area of 2500 m2 containing six workshops:
of joinery in wood, iron forging, modern hair dressing, a well
equipped kitchen, library and a computer lab
Throughout its continuity of fighting against poverty, Dar El
Birri Wal Ihsane opens its arms wide to help (street) children
reintegrate society.
A centre in construction foresees the welcoming of children aged
from 12 to 15 for an informal education and others from 15 to
18 for a professional formation.
B- Objectives
The creation of a monitoring, housing, reception, education and
formation centres of children in difficulty in the hope to help
them attain a better future for their full integration in their
social as well as familial lives.
The project is elaborated in multidimensional ways such as; its
primary objective is to provide psychological aid to the children
and in parallel, an ensemble of actions aiming to improve their
educations and formations.
The objectives are decomposed as follows:
1- Affective equilibrium
It is aimed for re-establishing the vulnerable child into the
midst of a familial structure if possible (close or far relatives).
Contacts with the latter will be established to permit the child
to renew parent – child relationship.
This action necessitates an active partnership with all the specialized
actors permitting a reestablishment of the equilibrium of the
familial cell.
The centre needs to constitute an approaching point as well as
an interface between the child and his/her family.
This trilateral link, once established, will in fact constitute
a basic relocation point for the child and for the centre a primary
guarantee of the child’s reinsertion in a family life.
2- Medical care
A team of nurses and doctors specialized in diverse fields (paediatrics,
psychology, among others) will be available to the centre. The
constitution of this team will be made either by detachment (public
services), vacation, or on a benevolent basis.
3-education and professional formation
A diagnosis of each child is made with the help of specialists
to determine the cause of the child’s rupture with society,
in order to precisely identify the problem and to find appropriate
solutions for better long term integration.
The centre will provide the children with specific formation modules,
three workshops and a gardening ground.
4-Social integration
In the pursuit of the goal to assure the children with a professional
integration, the centre counts on one part on a steep cooperation
with the professional industrial chambers, and on another part
on the deals that it concludes with institutions from the private
sector.
